책 소개
I hope children who read this book

will learn from Mary’s story

that love begins with a small heart.

A heart that waits for someone,

a heart that gently holds a hand,

a heart that keeps walking with faith

even on a difficult road

that is love.

Just as Mary held and cared for baby Jesus with love,

I hope we can also love our family, friends, and neighbors

with warm hearts.

May this book shine for a long time

like a bright little star in the hearts of children.

Suk Jo is a children’s picture book author and illustrator who writes and creates warm, beautiful Bible stories for young readers.

She retells stories from the Bible in a simple and gentle way so that children can easily understand and enjoy them. Through her books, she hopes to help children discover faith, love, kindness, and hope through the lives of people in the Bible.

In Mary, Suk Jo tells the story of Mary, the mother of Jesus, focusing on her faith, love, and humble obedience to God. Through Mary’s story, she hopes children will learn that trusting God and following His way can bring light and hope to our lives.

Suk Jo continues to create Bible picture books with the hope of planting a small seed of faith and love in every child’s heart.

“I want to create books that plant a warm seed of faith in a child’s heart.”
