1권에서는 중학교 필수 문법과 회화 필수 관용표현, 필수 속담, 네이티브도 자주 하는 스펠링 실수 등의 4가지 학습영역을 기준으로 영어 기초 실력을 쌓는다. 필수 문장들로 구성된 총 500여 개의 퀴즈가 3개의 레벨로 나뉘어 난이도별로 구성되어 있으며, 한 회당 14~16개 문제가 위의 네가지 영역에서 골고루 출제되어 전반적인 영어실력을 향상시킬 수 있다.
